ESF Photoshoot Update

The ESF marketing team/ photographers will come for the morning session on Thursday, 9 November. Barbara will kindly assist them in moving around that morning. The photos will be used for internal or external use, such as celebrating accomplishments, professional development materials, visual content for campus materials, or general marketing and communication.

Please do not wear name badges this morning, and we will have a list of the non-participants/ no photo consent children. These children will have a giraffe sticker to help the staff identify and move them around if needed.

Fire Drill (Monday, 13 November)

A heads up that we planned a fire drill in both the AM and PM sessions on Monday, 13 November. Please make a note of this date and review our Evacuation Procedures. The times will be around 9:10am and 1:20pmFor this first one, we will evacuate out to our playground and line up by class.

It costs a few thousand dollars to set off the actual fire alarm for the drill, so we will likely use the whistle instead or play the audio somehow.

EA Term 1 PRD Check-ins

Laura and Brenda will be meeting EAs next week. Please check your time slot here. We will meet in the vault, and a floater will come to your class to cover you. In advance, please have a think about the following reflection questions:

  • How is your well-being? What would be transformational for your well-being for the coming year?
  • How do you aim to professionally develop over the next academic year and what support do you need in this area?
  • Which part of your current role do you enjoy the most? In addition, which part is most challenging?
  • How is working at ESF adding value to your career?
  • What is important for us to know and understand about you?
