Staff Teams 2024-25
I know that you are all eager to learn about your new teams. We have received verbal confirmation from our new recruits, and I'm pleased to share the team assignments with you now. We have carefully considered the collective strengths across the school to ensure balance.
In addition to Jill and Ethan joining our EA team, we also welcome new admin colleagues: Jasmine Lam, who brings valuable corporate admin experience, and Stephanie Kao, who is returning after her departure during the COVID in 2021.

K1 to K2 Transition
As mentioned in the recent parent newsletter, we will be keeping the K1 children together and moving them up as a class to K2. Here is the tentative class transition plan:
- Dolphin > Turtle
- Frog > Tiger
- Monkey > Dragon
- Panda > Gecko
We are finalising the timetable for Chinese days, which may impact the timetable. We will do our best to keep it as close to the current arrangement as possible.

Similar to the K2 to Y1 transition practice, on Monday, 24 June, we will arrange for the K2 teacher to visit the K1 class and join any IEP meetings that might take place. We will also organise handover sessions for the K1 and K2 teachers.
Wednesday, 26 June, will be our K1 to K2 transition day. The K1 children can wear their new K2 class stickers. For those not staying with us in K2, we will provide them with another sticker so they will feel included. Please ensure the stickers are securely attached to their name badges to avoid falling off. Thank you!
Induction Sites
Please review the induction sites (K1 Site, K2 Site) and consider creating a new greeting video to welcome your new class. Feel free to use the existing story or create a new one. Kindly share your video HERE before 16 June; otherwise, we will continue using the current video.

ReUniform
We will invite interested parents to donate and purchase preloved uniform items, with the proceeds going toward our incursion/excursion reserve. We will encourage K2 families to drop off old uniforms in a donation box on the K2 Celebration Day. We will set up a pop-up store on Wednesday, 19 June, for K1 families during the Arts Open Day. (Floaters, please help with this project. 🙏🏼)
