Good morning everyone! Thank you again to all the teachers for giving up their time on the recent weekends for the various PD sessions. I hope there were some positive takeaways. We do have a short week! Hang in there :)

For this Week

Monday: No SPOT speech therapy (Joice is on leave)

Tuesday: Public Holiday

Wednesday: Teacher Lunch Meeting (Staffroom)

Friday: Senior Leadership Conference

The ESF Senior Leadership Conference is this Thursday and Friday. Laura, Brenda, and I will attend both days, but you can still reach us by phone. In the event of an emergency, please call us immediately.

have no doubt that you will continue to support each other and use your collective expertise to resolve any matters that may arise. Jaz and the admin team will be available to provide additional support as needed. Jaz will be a point of contact for any operational or administrative inquiries. Please feel free to buzz down to the admin team for assistance during this period. I appreciate your support in advance 🙏🏼

Name Badges

We've sourced new name badges with plastic clips! We've tested them with a few K1 children, and their little fingers can manage them quite well. The admin team will work hard to prepare these for after half term. If we need a bit of extra help cutting or inserting the name badges, we'd appreciate it if the class EAs could lend a hand.

Child Protection PD - The six R's of managing Harmful Sexual Behaviour in schools

Date and time: Wednesday, 16 October, from 4.30 PM to 5.30 PM HKT

Zoom link: To be shared with participants closer to the event

Join us on Zoom as we meet with Laura Nott from the Lucy Faithfull Foundation for a mini-workshop on managing Harmful Sexual Behaviour (HSB) in schools, using the Lucy Faithfull Foundation's 'Six Rs' model.

We will look at Professor Simon Hackett's continuum of sexual behaviours and explore widely available traffic light tools, considering the particular needs of Learning Diversity students. There will be a short Q&A session, so please come ready with any queries you want to discuss.

Sign-up is live now on Gateway.
