Thank you for your participation and engagement during our Professional Learning Day on Friday! Your input is invaluable and will significantly shape our school enhancement plan for next year and our professional learning planning. I hope you found the Occupational Therapy session helpful and have gathered some takeaway ideas. For your reference, here’s the OT Handout.
Planning for the New Academic Year
We’ve been giving this a lot of thought after seeking feedback from our teachers. We will be splitting the K1 children into two groups and regrouping them to form a new K2 class. This approach aims to help balance our learning differences (LD) load across the classes.
Regarding staff teams, we have confirmed the teacher allocations as outlined below. While we haven’t completed the EA recruitments yet, we will be doing so soon and will then consider placements. Our goal is to balance our collective strengths across the school.
K1 - Amy L, Dawn, Frankie, Juliet
K2 - Ammie (Joyce), Jen, Robyn, Sarah
Fire Drill
We will reschedule our fire drill for Wednesday, 7 May, weather permitting 🤞🏼. Please take a moment to review our Evacuation Procedures. The times will be around 9:10 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. We will evacuate to our playground and line up by class.
