Morning everyone. Last week of school!!!!! 🎉
I want to start by saying a huge thank you again for the amazing Celebration of Learning days for K1 and K2 last week. The pride and gratitude from our parents were a true testament to all your hard work and dedication.
And on that note, thank you to each and every one of you for this entire school year. Your commitment and support have truly made a difference in the lives of our children and families. I am so grateful to be part of such a dedicated team.
Thank you once again for all that you do. Let's have a fantastic final week!
For this Week
Tuesday: Parent Webinar for Incoming K1s (by SLT)
Wednesday: Parent Webinar - Setting Up for the Summer: The Screen Time Saga (by Ed Tech Coach)
Thursday: Water Fun Day
Friday: 1/2 day
End of Year Housekeeping
🧹Classroom Clean-up:
Please tidy up your classroom and remove all the displays that you do not want to be damaged in your classroom. We would ask everyone to help with the end-of-term "tidying-up" process. Open cabinets, tidy items, and return them to their original/ designated place. You will need to work in teams to get through everything. Please refer to the "to-do" list here, many many thanks 🙇
🍕🍞 Food and perishables:
Please ensure that you remove any food that you will not eat and is likely to spoil during the holiday. Our cleaners will be cleaning out the refrigerators; therefore, it would help if you can clear out your stuff, especially if it needs throwing out.
📅 Please try to avoid coming in on the following dates:
- 27, 28 July big clean
Last Friday of Term
On our last day, the priority will be moving classrooms for some of you, followed by general classroom tidying.
Let's come together for a morning tea at 10:30 AM ☕, so please feel free to bring along some treats to share. We will also dedicate some time to celebrate our work on our first year of Observable Impact. Please be prepared to share:
- Celebration: One success or strategy that made an impact.
- Learning: One thing you would do differently.
A quick note: Helen and Ah May will be on leave on Friday, so please don’t forget to wish them a wonderful summer break beforehand! ☺️
Physical Wellbeing Programme
ESF is gauging interest in a potential physical wellbeing programme for the next academic year. The following questionnaire introduces a possible 10-week programme with Clare Rawlings and takes half a minute to complete. Your response will help inform ESF’s wider professional learning planning for next year.
