Staff Teams for 2025-26
Thank you for your patience as we assembled our teaching teams over multiple iterations. While it's not a perfect list, we have carefully considered our collective strengths across the school to ensure balance, allowing opportunities for colleagues to grow and support each other.
Each of us brings unique strengths and talents to our work, and we also all have stretches we are working on. Gelling as a team is learning to understand and appreciate these differences in each other. As we settle into our new teams, let's learn to understand how our colleagues think, communicate, and work best.
Let's focus on being open and supportive with one another as we combine our individual skills. I truly believe our collective efforts make our school strong and unique.
On that note, we have a new Educational Assistant joining us. Please warmly welcome Maria, who comes to us from CDNIS. We will continue with recruitment this week.
Term 3 PRD Check-ins (EAs this & next week)
Laura and Brenda will be meeting EAs in the next 2 weeks. Please check your time slot here, we will meet in the office and a floater will come to your class to cover you. In advance, please have a think about the following reflection questions:
Reflecting on your overall contribution to ESF in the past year, how have you professionally grown?
In what ways have you felt acknowledged and celebrated for your contribution this year, and what move can be done to motivate you further?
What specific steps are you taking to continue looking after your wellbeing?
Tuesday Teacher Meeting
This Tuesday’s meeting will be a teacher meeting to go over the plans for:
Induction Site Videos
Please review the induction sites (K1 Site, K2 Site) and consider creating a new greeting video to welcome your new class. You are welcome to use the existing story or create a completely new one.
Please share your video HERE by 16 June. If we don't receive a new video from you by then, we will continue to use the current one for your class.
K1 to K2 Swap Day
This Friday, we will be holding our K1 to K2 swap day. Our K1 children will visit their new K2 classrooms and meet their new K2 teacher.
We will only be swapping the teachers to keep the schedule simple and focused on the children. All current EAs will remain in their classrooms to provide a familiar face for the children.
Our LE team, Chinese teachers, and the SLT will be on hand to help the children move between floors and classrooms.
