Morning all, A busy week ahead, kicking off with K2 PTCs — thank you in advance for your flexibility and support in making these run smoothly.

A quick note — I will be out for meetings Monday to Wednesday, but will remain available online as always. Please do reach out if anything comes up.

Also, a warm congratulations to Angela and Caroline, who are now officially appointed and will be starting with us in August — we’re really looking forward to having them join the team.

As we continue thinking ahead to next year, we are still working through team and classroom allocations. If you have any thoughts or preferences, please do drop us a line — it’s helpful as we shape things.

PTC Arrangements

As space is limited, we will be using the library and resource room as Zoom spaces.

  • Therapy sessions will move to outside the resource room for these two weeks
  • Where possible, please conduct library book exchanges in classrooms when the library is in use
  • An extra laptop for borrowing is available in the office

Support:
Jasmine and Vicky will be available to assist with:

  • Parent phone calls
  • Any issues that arise on the day

ESF Comms Team & CEO Visit (Friday)

The ESF Comms Team and CEO will be visiting to film in the Dolphin classroom.

  • Filming will take place mid-morning (10:15) through to lunchtime
  • The focus will be on the CEO speaking about the associated school model
  • It is not intended to include children

To support this:

  • The Dolphin area will be sectioned off
  • Children will remain on the other side of the school during this time
  • We have requested the space back by 12:45 at the latest

OI Work [Action Required] 

There will be no staff meeting next week.

Instead, please take time as a team to:

  • Review your SET
  • Reflect on progress using the Cale Birk CUSN scale

We will then come together on the following Tuesday (26 May)  to:

  • Share our end-of-year reflections
  • Begin planning school priorities for next year
